The first five years of a child’s brain development are crucial, particularly in the context of early childhood education. Research shows that this period is when the brain creates new connections and develops at the most rapid pace it ever will. With each second during these five years, young brains develop 700 synapses, the neural connections that support learning and the development of essential skill sets. Accordingly, it is vital to take advantage of this incredible time – the brain absorbs information like a sponge, which can be effectively fostered through engaging STEM activities.

A child's development primarily rests on the environment, exposure, and attention received during these formative years. The habits and interests formed in childhood generally reverberate through adult life. Additionally, summer camp experiences can further enrich this development, as they provide opportunities for social interaction and personal growth. We aim to impart wisdom that children will carry into adulthood – such as kindness, compassion, self-esteem, and respect – helping them become productive citizens of their community.

Curie Preschool's philosophy centers on providing a challenging academic environment that fosters creativity and curiosity, essential aspects of early childhood education. Our goal is to nurture young problem-solvers who can thoughtfully explore and discover solutions in both academic settings and their daily lives. At Curie Preschool, we aim to instill a sense of wonder and enjoyment in the mysteries of Science through engaging STEM activities, build confidence in Math skills, explore the beauty of Language, and inspire a lifelong joy for learning. Additionally, we offer a summer camp that continues to cultivate these skills in a fun and dynamic setting.
