Early Preschool Program

A warm, nurturing introduction to the world of learning. Our Early Preschool program is designed for the youngest explorers — building confidence, curiosity, and connection from the very first day.

Placement is based on your child's age as of September 30 and on individual readiness. Some children stay in a class for an additional term, and we discuss placement with every family.

Where Little Ones Bloom

Our Early Preschool program welcomes children from 18 months through 3 years old into a safe, stimulating environment designed specifically for their developmental stage. Intentionally small classes and a carefully crafted daily rhythm give every child the individual attention they deserve.

Through sensory play, music, movement, art, and gentle STEAM++ activities, children develop the foundational skills — social, emotional, cognitive, and physical — that set them up for a lifetime of learning.

A Gentle Daily Rhythm

Predictable routines help toddlers feel safe and ready to explore.

Arrival & Welcome

Children settle in with a warm greeting, choose their first activity, and ease into the day at their own pace.

Morning Circle & Songs

The whole group gathers for songs, movement, and a shared morning snack before the day’s learning begins.

Morning Meeting & Story Time

Teachers lead an interactive circle with read-alouds, conversation, and early language activities.

Outdoor Play

Children have scheduled outdoor play each day. When weather does not permit, indoor gross-motor activities take place in our Great Room.

Sensory & Discovery

Hands-on sensory bins, art, and open-ended materials invite curiosity and creative exploration.

Afternoon Enrichment & Rest

After lunch and rest time, children enjoy enrichment activities, a second outdoor session (or Great Room time when weather does not permit), and stories before pick-up.
