Professional Growth & Collaboration
Curie Preschool supports educators through ongoing professional learning, collaboration, mentoring, curriculum implementation support, and continuous improvement. Appropriate areas include employee onboarding, professional learning, workshops, mentoring, teacher collaboration, curriculum implementation support, classroom-quality improvement, developmentally appropriate teaching practices, child safety training, and role-specific training. Educators in applicable early childhood programs may participate in professional learning and implementation support connected with STREAMin³. Curie also participates in Virginia's quality measurement and improvement system (VQB5).
Roles we hire for
We welcome inquiries from qualified early childhood professionals interested in current or future opportunities at Curie Preschool. Staff assignments are based on school needs, position availability, qualifications, and program needs.
Lead Teacher
Plan and deliver daily learning experiences for a classroom of young children, building relationships with families and supporting assistant staff.
Teacher
Support children's learning and development through classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and daily routines in a nurturing early childhood environment.
Assistant Teacher
Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, engaging classroom environment and help children thrive throughout the day.
Substitute / Support Staff
Provide classroom coverage and additional support as needed across our Herndon and South Riding campuses.
Administrative / Teacher with Administrative Duties
Support school operations, family communication, enrollment, and program coordination alongside classroom or leadership responsibilities.

Compensation is based on the position, qualifications, experience, and applicable employment terms. Employment schedules vary according to position and school needs within our operating hours of 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
